Neolith Ignea receives in Milan the Archiproducts Design Awards 2024 in Sustainability

Neolith celebrates a new recognition for its dedication to sustainability and design excellence, receiving the prestigious Archiproducts Design Award in the Sustainability category for its Neolith Ignea product on Thursday last week.

Awarded at an exclusive gala at Superstudio Più, in the centre of Milan, this prize highlights Neolith Ignea's ability to harmoniously integrate innovation and environmental responsibility, consolidating Neolith as a benchmark for sustainability in the high-end architectural surfaces sector.
Recognition of world’s design excellence
The Archiproducts Design Awards celebrate excellence in design at a global level, acknowledging those products that represent an exemplary synergy between creativity, sustainability and innovation, championing the future of design through research and quality.
This award, achieved by Neolith Ignea model in the Sustainability category, recognises products that stand out for their use of recycled materials and eco-efficient production techniques that minimise environmental impact throughout their entire life cycle.
Composed of up to 98% recycled materials, Neolith Ignea exemplifies Neolith’s leadership in the transition towards a circular economy. This model has been designed with a deep inspiration from nature and an aesthetic that evokes the strength and beauty of volcanic landscapes. Its distinctive colour and texture, enhanced with a Riverwashed finish, make Ignea a sophisticated choice for projects seeking a balance between cutting-edge design and environmental commitment.

This prize underlines Neolith's commitment to providing architects and designers with surfaces capable of transforming spaces with elegance and ecological responsibility.

Commitment to Sustainability
Neolith surfaces are made from natural raw materials, do not contain resins or plastics in their formulation and are 100% recyclable. Neolith does not add crystalline silica to the composition of its products and some of its models, such as Neolith Ignea, contain up to 98% recycled materials.
As for its production processes, also focused on minimising the impact on the environment, all industrial water is recycled, 100% of the electrical energy used during the production process comes from sources with a guarantee of renewable origin and the company recycles more than 96% of the industrial waste generated.
Neolith has recently obtained the prestigious Cradle to Cradle Certified® Bronze product certification, which confirms that most Neolith products meet this global standard that accredits the creation of safe, circular and equitable materials and products. Furthermore, Neolith has reaffirmed its continuity with the United Nations Global Compact by supporting its 10 principles for sustainable development to fully incorporate sustainability into its operations, thus contributing to creating safer and more sustainable products for the future.
Neolith has also taken a further step in its sustainable leadership by improving its EcoVadis Gold rating in 2024, reaching the 98th percentile, and renewing its Zero Waste certification with the highest distinction.
