Neolith presents a dream space that radiates inner strength at Marbella Design & Art 2024
- Interior designer Cristina Puerta has created Casa Yin for Neolith and La Ebanistería, a room where elegance and inner strength take center stage.
- Neolith's Amazonico and Everest Sunrise surfaces create a calming, natural atmosphere with their inherent strength and luminosity.
Neolith takes part in the seventh edition of Marbella Design & Art, opened until November 10 at Marbella Palacio de Ferias. The space, called Casa Yin, was designed by interior designer Cristina Puerta and embodies elegance and inner strength.
Cristina Puerta designed this bedroom as a refuge to rediscover inner strength, connect with the earth’s essence, and experience the contrast between light and shadow. Inspired by the Chinese philosophy of Yin and Yang, Casa Yin is a place for reconnecting with oneself, where opposites merge to form a balanced whole.
The mysterious and seductive atmosphere of Casa Yin is created through a sophisticated combination of Neolith's exotic, natural surfaces, the elegant and sturdy furniture from La Ebanistería, and decor that evokes an aura of power and mystery.
According to Puerta, “Casa Yin centers around the bedroom, as this is the most personal and reflective part of the home—a retreat we cherish most. It’s essential that its design offers a sense of tranquility to close each day peacefully.”
Dark colors, noble materials, soft lighting, elegance, innovation, and sophistication... In this stunning space, the ritual of bathing becomes a luxurious pleasure. The standalone bathtub promises a unique moment of relaxation.
Beauty and contrast in balance: Amazonico and Everest Sunrise surfaces by Neolith
The contrast of intense, dark tones with light details in the finishes, as well as the combination of straight lines and organic forms, brings elegance and inner strength to Casa Yin, creating an enveloping ambiance of duality and harmony.
Cristina Puerta selected two Neolith surfaces for the floors and walls of this space, employing a striking play of geometric forms.
Casa Yin prominently features Neolith’s Amazonico, a rich green surface inspired by South America’s lush, dense rainforests. Amazonico’s dark, mysterious tones reflect the dense forest floor and subtly shift to lighter shades, symbolizing the gradual brightness at the treetops.
Amazonico’s dark green perfectly contrasts with the luminous touch of Neolith’s Everest Sunrise. This model, inspired by the majestic Mount Everest, is an impeccably balanced quartzite. Everest merges the calm, delicate colors of the Himalayas with a subtle golden sparkle, evoking sunrise at the mountain’s peak.
The result of this exquisite combination is an atmosphere of elegance, exclusivity, and purity.
“Marbella Design is becoming a must-attend event on Neolith’s calendar,” says Andreas Manero, Marketing Director at Neolith Group. “This year, together with Cristina Puerta, we are showcasing a holistic and ambitious space that elevates Neolith’s decorative potential to the next level.”
